Dr.Sandra Sherman
Sandra Sherman holds a J.D. and Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. She was for many years a Senior Attorney in the federal government, specializing in international law and trade relations. She was also a tenured professor of English at two major universities. She has written four books on 18th century literature and culture, and co-authored several books on neuroscience. She is co-author with Dr. Ahron Friedberg of Psychotherapy and Personal Change: Two Minds in a Mirror, and Through a Screen Darkly: Psychoanalytic Reflections During the Pandemic. During her academic career, Dr. Sherman mentored dozens of her students, helping them apply to law schools and graduate programs around the country. She has helped younger students apply to prestigious high schools, and high school students considering their college options. She helped place graduate students in academic positions, and continues to mentor them throughout their careers. She has hands-on experience in guiding individuals towards their best academic and career choices, as well as in coaching them to produce effective applications and to interview impressively. Because she was herself a career-changer, she understands the stress that can accompany such changes. She helps everyone with whom she works to recognize their particular talents, and to make the most of their talents professionally
